SaCaSol I

== Project details ==

SaCaSol I is a 45-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic power plant,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=San Carlos Solar Energy, Latest News )〕 owned by ''San Carlos Solar Energy Inc.'' (SaCaSol), and located in San Carlos, Negros Occidental, Philippines. At the time of grid connection, it is the largest solar plant in the Philippines and the country’s first utility-scale, privately financed solar power plant. The first phase, the 13 MWp SaCaSol I A, was inaugurated by the country's president, Benigno S. Aquino III, on May 15, 2014. The second phase, the 9 MWp SaCaSol I B, is in operation since July 2014.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=San Carlos Solar Energy-Power Capacity )〕〔(interaksyon.com: Philippines' largest solar power plant starts operations this week )〕 The third and fourth phase, SaCaSol I C and SaCaSol I D, are operational since August, 2015.〔(Solarserver.de: Photovoltaik auf den Philippinen: Solar-Kraftwerke SaCaSol 1C/1D mit 23 MW sind in Betrieb (german) )〕 The third and fourth phase, SaCaSol I C and SaCaSol I D, are in operation since August, 2015. They have increased total capacity to 23 MW. The solar irradiation at the project site is about 1,871 kWh/m²/year (PV Syst). The photovoltaic power plant was a cooperation between ThomasLloyd CTI Asia Holdings Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the ThomasLloyd SICAV-SIF – Cleantech Infrastructure Fund managed by global investment and advisory firm ThomasLloyd Group, and Bronzeoak Philippines Inc, a company specialising in the development and implementation of clean energy projects in the Philippines. SaCaSol I is maintained under an Operations and Maintenance Contract by Conergy Asia & ME. In June 2015, ThomasLloyd sold its stake in SaCaSol to the international consortium, ''Philippine Investment Alliance for Infrastructure (PINAI)''. Subsequent to this transaction, ThomasLloyd also sold its remaining interest in the 32 MW SaCaSol II and the 48 MW SaCaSol III solar power plants, under construction in Negros, to the same investor, PINAI.
